Trial lessons, waivers and vouchers at one desk.
For schools and clubs that sell trial flights and gift vouchers. Book the instructor and aircraft, have the waiver signed, and take the voucher as payment at the front desk.
How a trial lesson runs.
A gift voucher often turns up months after it was bought, held by someone who has never been to the airfield.
-
Step 1: Book the lesson
Book an instructor and an aircraft in the live diary. Confirmation and reminder emails go out on their own.
-
Step 2: Sign before they fly
The waiver and your terms are signed at booking or at checkout.
-
Step 3: Take the voucher
The voucher is accepted as payment at the front desk. Anything it does not cover goes on a card in the same checkout.
-
Step 4: Record the flight
The flight is priced at your rates and sits on the customer's account with a receipt, next to the voucher that paid for it.
Vouchers and discount codes at the desk.
Walk-ins and voucher holders check out on the touch-screen front desk. Vouchers are a payment method alongside card and account credit, and each discount code has its own restrictions.
- Gift vouchers accepted as payment
- Part payments, so the balance goes on a card
- Discount codes, percentage or fixed, with date windows
- Restrictions on each code, set separately
- Custom items for anything else you sell at the desk

Signed at booking or at checkout.
Put your waiver and terms in Volanti as agreements and choose where they are signed: at onboarding, at booking or at checkout. Until they are signed, the portal stays closed, and Volanti records who signed which version.
- Signed electronically at booking or at checkout
- Every version kept, with who signed it
- Next-of-kin details kept on the customer's record
Before the flight
Agreements for a trial lesson
- Trial lesson waiver Signed

- Next of kin On record
Volanti records who signed which version.
Instructors, aircraft and weather days.
Instructor bookings, holds and grounding all run from the same live diary.
Instructor bookings
Instructors set their own availability, see their bookings and flight history, and subscribe to their diary in their own calendar.
Holds on the calendar
Hold an aircraft for maintenance or an instructor who is ill.
Grounding
Ground the whole fleet, or an instructor for the full day. Cancel for weather and the aircraft or instructor is held for everyone, and the waiting list re-runs on its own.
Selling gift vouchers from your website.
We are building this now. Volanti Website will let people buy a gift voucher from your club website and pay online, and you will see every voucher that has been sold, used or expired. Until then, sell vouchers the way you do today and take them as payment in Volanti.
